The best moment of the film is when Max Von Sydow's character looks at his watch and says, "Have you ever noticed how long a minute lasts?", and then proceeds to count it out as his horrified wife looks on. This film was an obvious influence on Kubrik and Hitchcock. Hour of the Wolf is very close to the story that i have been working on. Using special effects similar to those in that voyeuristic pulp The Cell, a wife follows her huuband into madness out of love, and tries to bring him back.
